Master Angels: How to tie your belt properly!

First:  Take your (karate, taekwondo or jujitsu) belt in both hands from behind your back.  You want one side to be longer than the other, preferably the shorter side reaching to about your knee from your waist.

Second: Take the shorter side and pin it to the center of your stomach, right below your belly button, with your hand. Next take the longer side and wrap it around your waist once, making sure to go over the pinned part of the belt (in order to hold it firmly in place).

Third: Take the side of the (karate, taekwondo or jujitsu) belt, that just went around your waist, have it cross over top of the shorter piece of belt and then take it under both layers of the belt that are wrapped around your waist. Pull firmly.

Lastly: Take the bottom piece of belt (once the shorter side) in your hand and turn it over. Next take the top piece (once the longer side) in your other hand and put it over top of the bottom piece, they should form an X. Then take the top piece under and threw the hole formed by the belt and pull tight in a horizontal manner.
